28mm ECW, Kings lifeguard of Foote, The Shotte, part 1

More of the current ECW commission.
The first of the musketeers.
I'm still not sure of the make, I'll have to ask the customer, but they will either be Redoubt or Bicorne I recon.
They are nice figures though, with plenty of detail and quite large for 28's.
These have been painted to Veteran Standard by Kev.

The entire Lifeguard unit will be based by the customer when completed.

I still need to apply some varnish to them, but I'll do this when they are all painted and ready for it.
I do like to have a final scan over the figures to correct anything I missed.

These will hopefully be appearing in a future ECW supplement for a certain rule set.

28mm Wargames Foundry Saxons

I have just completed another commission this time for using some of the excellent Wargames Foundry Saxon Figures.

These have all been painted to our regular standard by Loki.

In total 36 figures, they were all based using 30mm round lipped bases supplied by us and finished to match the earlier parts of this commission.

28mm English Civil War, Kings Lifeguard WIP

One of my current commissions. A unit of Pike & Shotte for a regular customer who is basing them himself.
These will represent the Kings Lifeguard of foote. They are nearly finished, just a little tidying up to do, the odd highlight and around the faces, eyes, etc.

Above are some of the pike.

Finally are some of the Command. Not sure of the make, possibly Bicorne or Redoubt.
I am currently working on the shotte and more command figures.

28mm Northstar Miniatures Koryu Buntai for Ronin

As many of my regular blog readers will know I have also been painting one of the Northstar Ronin skirmish game box sets. I like to paint one off sets like this as they help break up the large units that normally adorn my table and are often painted alongside several units.

This is the Koryu Buntai box set of 9 figures.

28mm Wargames Foundry Pirates

One of the things we intend to do as part of our business model is some trading on Ebay. When we have the time to do so. It is a very good way to showcase work to a wider audience and if done correctly can work for you rather well.

I have been working this week on some Pirates and Buccaneers from the ranges at Wargames Foundry with the intention of selling these on Ebay.

These have all been painted to our veteran standard by me.

As many Pirate games tend to be at skirmish level, each one is treated as an individual and painted as such.

In total three crews of five hardened buccaneers and pirates fit for any Captain to take command of. They are all available on Ebay right now follow this link to view them.
