Assyrian Army (part 2)

It is that time of year again, so I am going to have 10 days or so off the brushes. So I will leave you all for this year with a small update on the Assyrian project.

2 units of 12 Auxilliary troops

20 Skirmish Bows, these are going to be split into 5 units of 4 figures by the customer.

That just leaves me to wish you all a great time over the festive break, we will be back here again in the New Year.

Mauryan Indian Cavalry

Occasionally you have to go off grid, when a client asks for an urgent job to be done. This is the case here as I got asked to make over 20 cavalry figures in a hurry for a game. Fortunately the client had stripped back and cleaned all but 2 figures, as he wanted me to match it into his existing collection. So I agreed to do it as long as he realised it would slow down the output of the Assyrians as a consequence.

They are only worked to recruit standard with a few extra highlights, but they match the original figures as requested. I do apologise for the picture quality, I have had several issues of late taking pictures, It may be time to invest in a better set up or rethink how I take them a touch.

Assyrian Army (part 1)

One of the ongoing projects Loki has is an Assyrian army for a regular client, who wanted them bright and basic as he put it. So here is the first batch of figures.

A unit of 12 auxillary foot.
 3 units of camel riders
 2 units of 5 slingers

A unit of 12 light infantry.

All basing will be carried out by the customer who has promised images of the units when based. There is a lot more to come for this project, and it helps break up the Napoleonics nicely.
